Tanya grew up in rural South Australia and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2012. After her hospital residency and GP training, she worked as a rural GP in the Macedon Ranges and remote Western Australia before returning to Bluff Road Medical, where she was previously a General Practice Registrar.
Tanya is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a College clinical examiner. She holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Graduate Certificate of Travel Medicine, and member of the International Society of Travel Medicine. Tanya is trained in inserting and removing contraceptive implants (Implanon) and IUDs.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, running, playing ice hockey, cooking and music.
